Stratton spokespuppy here again...would just like to thank the Ryan Newman Foundation for posting on Facebook for help for our Highland Co. animal shelter. It is in jeopardy of closing and we need it so bad. I could have had to live there for awhile if it hadn't been for my mom and dad :)

My mom and dad came and got me after they had just lost 3 of their dogs. Their vet called and told them I needed a home and "lucky me" they took me home. My name was Peanut (i don't look like a peanut!) so they changed my name to 'Jake'!! A more manly name if you ask me! I was the first of many dogs and cats that have come through this house..(after their beloved chihuahuas before us went to doggie heaven!) My mom said "I saved her heart" when I came here. She saved mine too! :)

LIKES: treats, treats, treats, Sitting on my mom and dads lap at night during, Going outside when the whole family is out there, treats, treats, treats

DISLIKES: Loud noises like thunder & gunshots..We live in the country!

Wow...Ryan won yesterday!! My mom was sooo excited, all she did was scream and clap her hands together and scream and yell!! Must have been something important. She was really happy. I love to see her that way :)
