Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County’s Inaugural

“Hounds for Hospice” Charity Dog Walk 

Join the Ryan Newman Foundation and Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County (HPCIC) for the inaugural “Hounds for Hospice” Charity Dog Walk, July 17, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Statesville, North Carolina Soccer Complex.

Participants are invited to enjoy a fun morning out walking trails with their favorite four-legged friend, participating in contests, enjoying entertainment and dog training exhibits, browsing and purchasing from vendors and participating in numerous raffles!

The Humane Society of Iredell County will also be on-hand for an adoption clinic, along with the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League.  A $25 registration includes a “doggie bag” with gifts for both the four-legged and the two-legged participant!  Upgrade your registration to our premier level at $50 and also receive a hardcover copy of Ryan and Krissie Newman’s new Pit Road Pets: NASCAR Stars & Their Pets, the Second Lap book.

Ryan and Krissie are excited to be attending this year’s event and will be available for a one-hour autograph session.  A separate registration will be held the day of the event for the first 150 people who would like to receive an autograph.

As a not for profit hospice agency, HPCIC has served thousands in our community over the last 25 years, regardless of their ability to pay.  This event will help raise funds to assure that no one go through end-of-life without the care, comfort and dignity they deserve.  As well as raising funds for HPCIC, 100% of proceeds from the sales of  Pit Road Pets: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets, The Second Lap will go directly to the Ryan Newman Foundation in support of animal welfare.
