Ryan Newman to sign Pit Road Pets books on October 31, 2008 at Texas Motor Speedway
Ryan Newman will be giving his fans a real treat on Halloween this year. The driver of the #12 Penske Racing Alltel Dodge in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will sign copies of the charity book Pit Road Pets™: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets during the upcoming Texas race weekend.
The Ryan Newman Foundation’s book features first-person stories and intimate photographs of nearly 50 NASCAR celebrities and their pets – including Newman, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Jeff Burton, Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin, Richard Petty, and many more.
The book signing will take place on Friday, October 31 at 5:30 p.m. (after qualifying) at Ryan Newman’s souvenir rig in the fan plaza at Texas Motor Speedway. Newman will sign up to two copies of Pit Road Pets in addition to one other item per person during the autograph session.
Tickets for the book signing will be distributed to the first 100 fans that purchase or show a Pit Road Pets book at the souvenir rig beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31st. Fans may purchase copies of the book—which normally retail for $24.95--at Newman’s souvenir rig this weekend for a special discount price of $18.50 per book. Only 100 books will be sold at this reduced rate this weekend.
