If you plan on attending Speed Weeks and the Daytona 500, you will not want to miss the Halifax Humane Society’s 10th Annual NASCAR Memorabilia Auction. This year marks “ten years of caring” and promises to be a night to remember!

The event will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007-Valentine’s Day. Bring your sweetie and celebrate this special night with us in the beautiful Daytona Club Tent on the Daytona International Speedway property. There will be plenty of Nextel Cup NASCAR items in everybody’s price range plus a few surprises to mark this special year. Ryan and Krissie Newman attended the event in 2005 and 2006. Newman says, "The Halfiax Humane Society is a wonderful organization, and we're proud to support their charity event for the third year in a row. A few years ago Krissie visited their shelter while I was on the track practicing. She said that the shelter is full, and the community has a major pet overpopulation problem. We're proud of the work they do with pet adoptions and spays and neuters to reduce the number of homeless animals that are euthanized in their community each year."

The silent auction will begin at 6:00 PM with the live auction to follow at approximately 7:15 PM. Tickets are $10 per person. For the couples – the Halifax Humane Society is planning a special pre-Valentine’s party for you. If you would like to arrive at 5:30 PM to enjoy complimentary champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a red rose, purchase the special couples tickets at $25 per couple. This package must be purchased in advance.

The auctions will provide hundreds of items to bid on including sheet metal, die casts, crew uniforms, beautifully framed photographs and prints, caps, jackets, collectibles, several multi-signature items, plus we even have a children’s section and several non-NASCAR items. 99% of the items are signed by the top Nextel Cup drivers including Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Jeremy Mayfield, Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Petty, Michael Waltrip, Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin, Matt Kenseth and more!
