STATESVILLE, NC (May 16, 2006) – The Speedway Club at Lowe's Motor Speedway in NC will host a Q&A and book signing for Krissie Newman, co-founder of the Ryan Newman Foundation and publisher of Pit Road Pets: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets, and the book’s photographer Karen Will Rogers and writer Laura Lacy on Saturday, May 20 from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m.

Newman, Rogers and Lacy will be joined by Ryan Newman Foundation Executive Director Rosalie De Fini for a Pit Road Pets Q&A Session from 4:45 to 5:00 p.m. at the Speedway Club. A Pit Road Pets book signing will follow. Joining them for the signing will be the Speed Channel's Craig Reynolds, who is featured in the
book with his dogs. The book signing will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Speedway Club.

Those who attend are welcome to bring their own copies of Pit Road Pets: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets or purchase a copy of the book at the signing from Kitty City, a local nonprofit animal rescue group. The retail proceeds from the books sold at the event will benefit Kitty City.
