STATESVILLE, NC (May 16, 2006) – Krissie Newman, co-founder of the Ryan Newman Foundation and publisher of Pit Road Pets: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets, will host a book signing Saturday, May 20, with the book’s photographer Karen Will Rogers and writer Laura Lacy. Joining them for the signing will be ARCA driver and Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure representative Jason Jarrett, who is featured in the book with his dogs Poseidon and Steele.

Jarrett regularly participates in a local rescue group's annual golf tournament on the Dale Jarrett Foundation team, and he and his wife walked their beautiful dogs down the runway at the rescue group's Poochie Collection Fashion Show fundraiser.

The book signing will take place from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Huntersville, NC Barnes & Noble, located at 8725 Townley Road in the Birkdale Village shopping center.

Those who attend are welcome to bring their own copies of Pit Road Pets: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets or purchase a copy of the book at Barnes & Noble prior to the event.
