The Ryan Newman Foundation

The NASCAR Foundation is proud to announce its partnership with Ryan Newman Foundation for NASCAR Day 2009.

NASCAR Day is an annual celebration of the NASCAR spirit and the sixth-annual observance will be held this year on Friday, May 15th. NASCAR fans, corporations, schools and organizations across the country are encouraged to donate $5 and all participants will receive a collectible 2009 NASCAR Day lapel pin for their donation.    

There are two ways to help the Ryan Newman Foundation fulfill our mission to educate and encourage people to spay/neuter their pets and to adopt dogs and cats from animal shelters; to educate children and adults about the importance of conservation so the beauty of the great outdoors can be appreciated by future generations; and to provide college scholarship funding through the Rich Vogler Scholarship program to students interested in auto racing careers.  1.)  You can make a $5 donation to get your NASCAR Day pin today and designate your donation to benefit the Ryan Newman Foundation; 2.) You can join the Ryan Newman Foundation’s  NASCAR Day Pit Crew and sign up your organization, civic club or business to take donations and give out pins in your hometown.

You can visit the NASCAR.COM Superstore to make your $5 donation online and receive your individual pin through the mail. (You don’t have to enter a code to designate your donation for the RNF.  Simply click the link below, which is a special tracking link that will automatically designate the RNF as the beneficiary of your NASCAR Day pin donation.)

2.)  JOIN THE RYAN NEWMAN FOUNDATION’S NASCAR DAY PIT CREW! 
By signing up your organization, club, or company to participate in NASCAR Day or by donating $5.00 to get your individual pin, you can help support Ryan Newman Foundation and The NASCAR Foundation and its Family of Charities.

Enter RNF into the Charity Code section of the sign-up form to make sure the money you raise is designated for the Ryan Newman Foundation! 

After signing up, you will receive a NASCAR Day kit containing the amount of pins you requested as well as all the materials necessary to successfully implement your NASCAR Day celebration: Crew Chief Manual, donation envelope and posters to hang around your office's common areas. By ordering a NASCAR Day kit, you are pledging to donate $5 per pin ordered at the conclusion of the NASCAR Day campaign. Fifty percent of your final donation will benefit Ryan Newman Foundation.  

Each crew chief will be listed on the Ryan Newman Foundation website below and will receive an autographed hero card from Ryan Newman as a token of appreciation!
