The Ryan Newman Foundation

Racing fans and fisher-boys and girls alike were waiting in line for the Aaron’s Fish and Fun benefitting Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway on April 4^th.

It was a blustery morning, but that didn’t keep NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Ryan Newman and over 200 anxious kids and their families from casting their lines to see if they could pull a big fish out of Lake Texas Motor Speedway.  Ryan, an avid fisherman, had a lot of help and advice from the resident ‘experts’ and his fans on the best bait for the best results.

All proceeds from this event went to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities – Texas Chapter whose mission is to care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives.
