The Ryan Newman Foundation

It’s Krissie Newman vs. Ryan Newman!  Who can raise more money?  This year at the Dover Track Walk Krissie will represent Team Spay Neuter.  Proceeds raised by Krissie’s team will be donated by the Ryan Newman Foundation to the Humane Alliance’s National Spay/Neuter Response Team.  Her opponent, Ryan, will represent Team Wildlife.  Proceeds raised by Ryan’s team will benefit the Racing For Wildlife initiative. 

The NASCAR Foundation Track Walks give fans the unique opportunity to walk a lap around some of the most famous race tracks in NASCAR. Not only do walkers experience the track from a different perspective and enjoy the sights and sounds from the racing surface, they also benefit very worthy causes through fundraising! 

The NASCAR Foundation Dover Track Walk is a great event for friends and family members looking for entertainment at the track between race activities. Get your group together today and get on track for charity!  

FUNDRAISING PRIZES:

TEAM SPAY/NEUTER:  Anyone who raises over $100 will receive a signed photo of Ryan and Krissie Newman with their dog Mopar and a Ryan Newman Foundation Spay-Neuter-Adopt wristband.

TEAM WILDLIFE: Anyone who raises over $100 will receive a signed photo of Ryan Newman fishing on Mill Lake in Michigan and a Ryan Newman Foundation Racing For Wildlife wristband. The NASCAR Foundation has online fundraising tools for walkers that make fundraising fun and as easy as CLICK and SEND. You can personalize your individual home page and customize your emails to let people know exactly why you are walking. EVENT INFORMATION:

EVENT DONATION:  $30 online or $35 at track (Individual participant; Children 14 and under may walk for free with a paid adult)

WHEN:  Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 6:00 PM (immediately following the NASCAR Nationwide race)

WALK KICK-OFF LOCATION:  Dover International Speedway.  Walk Kick-Off will begin at approximately 6 PM at the SPEED Stage (look for the SPEED Tower)

AT-TRACK REGISTRATION:  Friday, May 29, 9 AM – 5 PM; Saturday, May 30, 8 AM – 5 PM

REIGSTRATION LOCATION:  The NASCAR Foundation Hauler in the Fan Zone (look for a blue hauler with NASCAR Foundation logos)
