The VA Stand Down in Asheville was a success. We were so happy to help those that attended who have dogs and cats at home. We gave out 75 bags full of tee shirts, food, collars/leashes/harnesses, flea and tick preventative, brushes, toys and bowls to veterans. They also got to choose a nice bed or crate for their beloved pet to sleep in.

We are looking forward to next year and will be sure to bring a lot more items. We also believe we are going to exceed our goal of 22 spay/neuter surgeries for the VA Spay Day we are hosting with Humane Alliance on Sept. 12.
