Darlington Raceway Area Outback Steakhouse Invites Fans to a Ryan Newman Themed Evening to Help Raise Funds for the Ryan Newman Foundation

The Outback Steakhouse located in Florence, SC., is excited about the upcoming Sprint Cup Series race weekend at Darlington Raceway and offering a race-themed night leading up to the big event next Saturday night.

On Tuesday, May 8th, the Outback Steakhouse located at 110 Dunbarton Drive is inviting the public to stop by for great food while helping animals across the country.

“Outback Steakhouse has been a great partner not only with Stewart-Haas, but with our Foundation,” said Ryan Newman. “It’s amazing how many people mention they hope I win or get a good finish so they can get a free Bloomin Onion on Monday’s. I’m not sure they really like me as a driver, but they love the food at Outback, so I get their support and that’s fine with me.”

Fans will have the opportunity to see Ryan’s No. 39 Outback Chevy, which will be on display from 6-8pm. You can check out the inside of the car Ryan spends 500 miles in each week and take pictures next to the exact replica that he went to victory lane in just a few weeks ago at Martinsville Speedway. The night will also be filled with great giveaways, so you don’t want to miss it.

“Krissie and I eat at Outback quite a bit and hope the fans get the chance to visit the one in Florence,” Newman added. “I know a lot of people like to see the show cars whenever they are on display somewhere. It should be a good night and will help us raise money to award grants to animal organizations. It might be a good night for an early Mother’s Day dinner?”

A portion of the food proceeds from the night will go to the Ryan Newman Foundation. Print out the attached flier and present it upon arrival and a 20% donation will be made to the Foundation.

About the Ryan Newman Foundation:

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Ryan Newman and his wife, Krissie, established the Ryan Newman Foundation in January 2005. The mission of the foundation is to educate and encourage people to spay/neuter their pets and to adopt dogs and cats from animal shelters; to educate children and adults about the importance of conservation so the beauty of the great outdoors can be appreciated by future generations; and to provide college scholarship funding through the Rich Vogler Scholarship program to students interested in auto racing careers. The Ryan Newman Foundation is proud to be part of the NASCAR Foundation’s family of charities.
